Pafos Chamber of Commerce and Industry- Tourism Committee launched its multilingual brochure “In the Footsteps of Saint Paul in Pafos”, which is produced in the frame of CultMark Operation in the EU INTERREG IIIC Programme. The English version of the brochure was launched at “World Travel Market” tourism exhibition in London on 6th of November.
Furthermore, the brochure in all languages was distributed at the European Tourism Forum (ETF), held in Limassol on 16-17 November 2006.

The brochure, produced in English, Greek, German and Italian, promotes Pafos as the first capital ruled by a Christian governor and as one of the most important centers of civilization in the Mediterranean. It follows the steps of St. Paul and takes the visitors through the places where St. Paul preached, from his arrival in Pafos, to the Church of Agia Kyriaki Chrysopolitissa, the House of Theseus/Mosaics and St. Paul’s departure. A full list of churches and monasteries with frescos depicting St. Paul, is given as well.
As part of the CultMark Project, Pafos is also erecting special signs at the pillar when St. Paul was whipped and has also held a series of lectures on the footsteps of St. Paul in Cyprus.
